Going overboard

We need to be careful with how much our love of UT plays into the wedding...because it could easily get out of hand!
Ice Sculpture

Cuff links
Place card holders

Cake toppers

Ring bearer pillow

Gotta have a kids table!

Here are potential escort cards for the kiddos, depending on how many we have:

And entertainment...obviously these "I Spy" topics are a little cheesy but I like the colors

Other Invitations

First is a potential save the date. We were thinking we could find a vintage postcard of Austin, scan the image and then put our details on the back. Our second save the date would need to be designed, but I still like the idea of doing a silhouette of the UT tower, with the windows lit up with our wedding date in an orange and gray color palette. May be a little over the top longhorn but very creative :)

I also like this invitation, probably because I love the look of outdoor lights. May be good for a shower or other wedding event.

I sent this to Brian's parents as a potential Rehearsal Dinner invitation. I am really loving orange/gray and orange/brown colors so this would fall in line with most all invitations we have liked so far. We are soooooooooo excited about a rehearsal dinner at the famous Salt Lick booked today!

Fireflies and Mason Jars

I'm obsessed with this invitation. Brian says fireflies are for summer but I was attacked by one in my house in April. I think it's perfect for a somewhat rustic wedding outdoors and could open up a lot of mason jar tie ins

Escort Cards

Here are a few ideas I've liked for the escort card table but I can't decide which one will best go with an Austin theme:

Obviously, I don't want taxis but this picture reminded me any old object could potentially work

These are probably my favorites. There is something about these plants I just LOVE. My sister reminded me today my memaw has a bunch in the kitchen which only made me love them more. I even love the little card sticking out of the plant below.

The Wild Onion Ranch - Austin, Texas

The facility we chose is incredibly someone's home. She had prepared the ranch for her daughter's wedding and has now opened it to the public.
